The Move
The newest River City Star traveled over 1000 miles on its journey from Lake Mead in Las Vegas, Nevada to the Missouri River in Omaha, Nebraska.
The entire trip was done overland on the back of a cargo trailer - now thats one wide load!
Upon arrival in Omaha, a 100,000 pound capacity crane was required to actually remove the riverboat from its trailer. |

The new vessel was placed in the water at Castaway Pointe Marina - the same marina that was the last destination of the original River City Star. |
